Boston trailed by 10 points entering the final frame, but a lock-down defensive effort limited Indiana to just 13 points in the quarter.
Boston's staunch defense held the Pacers to just 36.4 percent shooting on the night. Kevin Garnett earned a double-double with a game-high 18 points and a team-high 10 rebounds that moved him into 10th place on the NBA's all-time rebounds list.
